Arunachal Pradesh: 900 people joins in BJP at Tirap

GUWAHATI, OCT 12: Around 900 people basically from the Congress and NPP joined the BJP during a massive joining programme and public meeting was held at Kaimai village under 57 Borduria Bogapani legislative assembly constituency in Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday.

BJP Arunachal Pradesh State President and MLA Biyuram Waghe, Vice President Junti Singpho, general secretary Nalong Mize and a host of other leaders were present.

It might be mentioned that the 57 Borduria Bogapani assembly constituency of currently being represented by Wangling Lowangdong of the Congress. Lowangdong had defeated BJP candidate Jowang Hosai by a margin of just 97 votes.

Addressing the gathering, Waghe appealed upon the party workers to work for the betterment of the people and also to take effective steps to generate awareness among the masses on the welfare schemes undertaken by the Centre as well as the state government. The BJP President also called upon the newcomers who joined the party today to work with dedication to ensure victory for the BJP candidate Jowang Hosai during the ensuing elections of 2024.

“The party workers should work dedicately for the people of the region and help people to know about the welfare schemes of the BJP. Under the leadership of chief minister Pema Khandu, BJP has been working hard for the developnent of the region. We are committed to work for the people of Arunachal Pradesh,” said Waghe stated.

He stated, “The people should chose a good leader for the development of their region. The party workers should work hard and help the BJP candidate to win the next election from this constituency.”

57 Borduria Bogapani legislative constituency have more than 12,000 voters and during election they plays a crucial role in deciding the fate of the candidate.

The guests were accorded a traditional welcome by the organizers. Cultural troupes from various villages presented traditional dances.
