Guwahati: An Airport Advisory Committee (AAC) meeting of the Dibrugarh Airport was chaired by Union MoS for Petroleum and Natural Gas Rameswar Teli chaired on Sunday.
The meeting was attended by Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner Biswajit Pegu, Superintendent of Police Shwetank Mishra, airport officials and other stakeholders. The main purpose of the Airport Advisory Committee (AAC) is to make airports user-friendly from the point of view of passenger amenities.
The chair was briefed about various passenger facilities and services available at the airport and the committee discussed on additional facilities to be made available. Status of ongoing and planned infra upgradation and expansion works was also reviewed by the committee.
The airport director gave a wholesome view of the airport, mainly focusing on the passenger
amenities and infrastructural development works underway at Dibrugarh Airport.
