Assam: DPS Dibrugarh middle school students and teachers visit Hyderabad for an educational trip

GUWAHATI, NOV 7:  Delhi Public School  Dibrugarh sent 33 students and 3 teachers on an educational trip to Hyderabad from 3rd to 6th November 2022.

The trip was flagged off by the Pro Vice Chairman of the school CA Sanjay Jain, Board member  Banita Jain and Principal Probhati Biswas.

The PVC of the school CA Sanjay Jain informed the press that such educational trips are integral part of education at DPS Dibrugarh for the holistic development of the students. Board member  Banita Jain wished the team the best of luck for their maiden trip.

The tour began with a scintillating experience of Space Yatra with special focus on movie-making and an enthralling tour of Ramoji Film City followed by the wonderful experience of Charminar and its surrounding market area. Students were mesmerized by the display of ‘Crazy Cars’ and ‘Musical Clock’ at Sudha Cars Museum and Salar Jung Museum respectively. 

Their visit to the enchanting Birla Mandir, Golconda Fort and a joyous boat riding at Lumbini Park in Tank Bund were a treat to experience.

The students and teachers who participated in the Educational trip will prepare presentations and share their experiences with their peers. Such sharing of experiences and exchange of ideas are conducted on regular basis at DPS Dibrugarh under ‘ Knowledge Sharing Programme’.

The Principal mentioned that such educational trips are essential for developing 21st century skills in the students and for widening cross cultural perspectives.

DPS Dibrugarh has taken students for educational trips earlier in and around Dibrugarh but this is for the first time that they visited another state. The Parents of the students  who were a part of this trip, thanked the school management for the praiseworthy initiative.
