Taking to twitter, Guwahati police wrote, ” A team of crime branch and Basistha police station raided a hide out near Khanapara flyover that led to the arrest of 4 peddlers and seizure of 42 grams heroin, 33 vials and Rs 4,380 .”
The arrested are- Punam Hazarika, 20 of Khanapara , Mohan Boro , 27 of Basistha, Raju Deka ,33 of Kumarpara and Nipen Das , 30 of Khanapara.

Assam police tweeted this news in a different way writing, ” Breaking bad news , we just turned this drug peddlers into a breaking sad story.
Today Guwahati police intercepted a high-ly colorful entrepreneur trying to make some dope deals. Sorry buddy ,but we don’t ” narc” around here .”
The Assam police has waged war against drugs yet it seems to an unending war.
