GUWAHATI, SEP 21: Arm wrestler Manoj Debnath of Assam’s Dibrugarh got selected to represent team India in World Arm wrestling Championship in below 63kg senior men category to be held in Dieppe France from September 26 to October 2, 2022.
At least 40 countries will take park in the mega event.
Recently, he won Gold medal in right and left hand in Asian Armwrestling Championship held in June this year in Malaysia.
Apart from that Manoj had brought many medals in Arm wrestling.
“I am preparing hard for the mega event and hopeful that I will bring medal for India. I want to thank my well wishers for their support,” he said.
He further said, “From my school days, I loved this sports. My seniors helped me to learned the art of Armwrestling. Intially, I practiced in Dibrugarh later I moved to Bangalore for my job and started practising here,”.
