GUWAHATI, AUG 14: The Joint Civil Military Cycle Rally from Hayuliang, Anjaw district culminated today at Walong. The expedition which commenced on 12 Aug 22 witnessed participation of 75 daredevil Dao Warriors and cyclists from various parts of Arunachal Pradesh.
The arduous route of the expedition traversed 100 kms in the pristine Lohit Valley before reaching the easternmost part of the country, Walong.
The rally was flagged off by Anjaw MLA Dasanglu Pul of Arunachal Pradesh and was attended by senior military, civil administration officials and villagers.
A colourful cultural programme was organised to mark the Platinum Jubilee of Independence.
The MLA felicitated the cyclists and exhorted all present to celebrate the Azadi ka Amrit mahotsav with fervour and gusto.
