In the upcoming film Doctor G, Ayushmann Khurrana will play an apprehensive gynaecology student who is told that he must lose his manly touch in order to excel in his field. Ayushmann is well-known for his unconventional roles and for conveying social messages through his characters. The actor recently unveiled the trailer of the comedy-drama on social media. Anubhuti Kashyap directs the film, which also stars Shefali Shah, Rakul Preet Singh, and Sheeba Chadha.
Sharing the film trailer on twitter, Ayushmann wrote, “Gynaecology department ki har ek naari, padegi #DoctorG pe bhaari! #DoctorG will attend to you in theatres from 14th October 2022 #DoctorGTrailer out now”. The trailer gives us a sneak-peek into the chaotic world of his medical journey and contains elements of humour, seriousness, and relatability.

Doctor G is the story of Uday Gupta, who is the only male student in the Department of Gynaecology. Uday aspires to specialise in orthopaedics but is locked in an all-female gynaecology class. He finds a mentor in Shefali Shah, who tells him to lose his male touch in order to acquire the trust of his patients.
The film will be arriving in theatres on October 14, 2022.
