The first teaser for Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming comedy film Double XL has been released. The film is breaking all the notions of body shaming in a humorous manner. The story revolves around the journey of two women who have been fat-shamed, one from heartland Uttar Pradesh and the other from urban New Delhi and also stars Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra.
The teaser was released officially by the makers on Thursday. Sonakshi and Huma also shared the teaser and release date of the film on their respective social media handles. In the 30-second teaser for Double XL, Sonakshi wonders what will happen if they start treating males the same way they treat women.

Double XL, The slice-of-life is directed by Satramm Ramani. After a month-long shoot, the filming is officially complete. It is produced by Bhushan Kumar under the label of Wakaoo Films with the collaboration of T-Series. In a light hearted way, the comedy-drama questions bodyweight stereotypes that have long plagued our society. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on October 14, 2022.
