Kriti Sanon made her acting debut in 2014 and has come a long way as an actor since then, which shows on the big screen. Her recent film ‘Mimi’ got appreciation and she was rewarded for it last night when she received the Best Actor in the lead role (Female) for Mimi at the 67th Filmfare Awards. In ‘Mimi’, Kriti Sanon played the role of a surrogate mother. The film was directed by Laxman Utekar.
The actress describes taking the black lady home as a “dream come true.” Following her victory, the actress took to social media to post a video with the Black Lady. Along with the video, Kriti has extended gratitude to everyone, especially the filmmaker Laxman Utekar. “I ain’t sleeping alone tonight,” the note states. My heart is full… Gratitude. “The black lady is finally here.” She also thanked the whole team of Mimi by saying, “A big thank you to Dinoo and Laxman Utekar sir for giving me this beautiful role and for being my constant supporters… I love you both.
