In Rabi Tragedy (Morbi Tragedy) it has been revealed that the company is running Ughadi robbery. This incident also shows gross negligence of Morbi Nagar Palika and did not bother to verify that Orewa company was carrying out open robbery.

The 142-year-old Jhulta Bridge over Machhu River in Morbi was renovated by Orewa Company. Jhulta Bridge was inaugurated by Jaisukh Patel of the company on the day of Basta year itself. Due to gross negligence and carelessness of the company, the bridge collapsed on Sunday and 132 people died including 78 people and 56 children.

An agreement was signed by Oreva Company with Morbi Municipal Corporation, a copy of which is with Gujarat First. After verifying the contract, it has been sensationally revealed that open robbery was being carried out by Oreva Company and Jaysukh Patel in Jhulta Bridge. It has been exposed that more rupees than what was supposed to be taken from the people were taken from the people.

132 people have lost their lives to make money by the Oreva company. Currently, the company charged 12-year-old children Rs 12 for a Rs 10 ticket, while those above 12 years were charged Rs 17 for a Rs 15 ticket.

The company was charging more than the fixed rate and had no one to speak to. Morbi Municipality signed an agreement with the company for 2022-23. After the agreement, the new price was to come into effect from January, but the company has already started charging the new price from October itself.

It is clearly seen that Morbi Municipality has also shown serious negligence in this incident. It appears that the municipality has not bothered to check whether the prices fixed by the Orewa company are being charged. When the contract was being violated but no one took action against the company, the question is being asked that if the contract was being violated, whose responsibility was there.
