Kamaal R Khan has been detained, due to his contentious tweets about Irrfan and Rishi Kapoor in 2020. Kamaal R Khan frequently gets into difficulties because of his tweets and direct jabs at Bollywood. Rahul Kanal, a member of the Yuva Sena, filed the complaint against Kamaal R Khan at the Malad Police Station.
“Kamaal R Khan has been arrested today on my complaint. I welcome this move by Mumbai police. He makes derogatory comments on social media and uses foul language. Such kind of behavior is unacceptable in society. By arresting him, Mumbai police has sent out a strong message against such people,” Rahul Kanal remarked.
Following his arrival at the Mumbai Airport on Tuesday, Mr. Khan was arrested, according to the police. Today, the actor will be taken before the Borivali court in Mumbai. An FIR was also filed against him in 2020 under the terms of the Information Technology Act as well as sections 153 (wantonly offering provocation with intent to incite riot) and 500 (punishment for defamation) of the Indian Penal Code.
