No goods vehicles will be allowed to enter Kolkata city from 4 am to 10 pm on Sunday.

No goods vehicles will be allowed to enter Kolkata city from 4 am to 10 pm on Sunday. However, concessions are given for LPG cylinder vehicles and vegetable, fruit, and milk vehicles. Although the movement of cargo vehicles is prohibited till 10 pm, small cargo vehicles (up to 1600 kg weight) will be allowed to travel from 4 pm.
No truck movement will be allowed from the crossing of Kiran Shankar Roy Road and Strand Road southbound from 4 am to 4 pm. The movement of vehicles of the returnees has also been banned. Buses on Babughat route will also not be allowed to ply that route. Those buses will be diverted through the Hare Street and Strand Road crossings. After Clyde Road and Commissionerate Road crossing and Clyde Road and St. George Road crossing, returnees will be allowed to use vehicles other than vehicles. Other vehicles from that route will be diverted to other roads.
Government Place to Auckland Road will be closed from 4 am to 4 pm. Kingsway Road from Palashi Gate Road crossing will also be closed to all vehicles. That route will be open only for returnees. If necessary, both lanes of Strand Road.
