After Gujarat, the BJP will focus on the 2023 Bengal Panchayat Elections while the TMC applies pressure

Because of the triumph in Gujarat, the BJP’s state organisation will now turn its attention to Bengal in an effort to repeat its victory in the 2023 panchayat elections.

Suvendu Adhikari, the leader of the opposition, increased the tension in political circles by predicting some developments in December. “We congratulate all of our colleagues from Gujarat. We have joyfully celebrated Modi-leadership ji’s in every aspect. The years 12, 14, and 24 are now significant dates. Wait and observe The TMC’s spokesperson, Kunal Ghosh, immediately refuted Adhikari’s assertion. If the government accomplishes something on the days he is specifying, it will be obvious that the BJP is in charge. Prior to the 2023 elections, Bengal’s law and order issue would be discussed with Home Minister Amit Shah by BJP state president Sukanto Majumdar in order to receive advice. Majumdar recently stated that although the party was pleased with Gujarat’s triumph, a victory in Bengal would bring its winning streak to an end. On December 19, when the Bengal unit would be in Delhi for meetings with senior leaders, Adhikari will also have a meeting with Shah. Bengal general secretary Jagannath Chatterjee told News18, maintaining the positive attitude within the party, “The tremendous organisation of Gujarat set the way for consecutive triumphs. Bengal will also adopt the Gujarat state unit’s organisational structure.

Despite the Trinamool Congress’ denial that the BJP leaders’ words put any pressure on them, party sources claim they are keeping an eye on the saffron party.
