TMC’s Saket Gokhale arrested again by Gujarat Police hours after bail, claims Derek O’ Brien

Trinamool Congress MP Derek O’Brien on Thursday alleged that party spokesperson Saket Gokhale was being harassed by the Gujarat Police even after being granted bail. Saket Gokhale was arrested for his tweet endorsing an alleged fake news about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Morbi after the bridge collapse incident.

TMC leader Saket Gokhale was arrested on Tuesday for a tweet endorsing an alleged fake news report about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Morbi town after the collapse of a suspension bridge in October. He was sent him to police custody till December 8.

Saket Gokhale, the national spokesperson for Trinamool, was given bail, and Derek O’Brien tweeted on Thursday night that the party is “always ready to fight the good fight.”

Derek O’Brien said that Saket Gokhale had been detained once more by the Gujarat Police and was being brought to a “unknown place” a few hours after the aforementioned tweet.
