Guwahati: The air quality of Guwahati has significantly worsen during the last month for various reasons.The weather of central Assam along with Guwahati was dusty.
During the day, people had to face a lot of trouble in the movement of vehicles and in the dusty weather.Many areas can be seen covered in white dust as the wind continues to blow it across the rest of the city.
Guwahati air quality has stayed in the ‘very poor’ category for a month as per the daily Air Quality Index (AQI) bulletin published by the Central Pollution Control Board.The entire Guwahati seems to be undergoing development work.
Other side from the Brahmaputra Riverfront development construction to the construction drains, buildings and flyover, the residuals of these construction have been one of the main factors of the air quality to have been dropped to such a levels.
