Dibrugarh: An Ayush exhibition was inaugurated by Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, secretary of Ayush ministry on Thursday at Dibrugarh University.
The exhibition was organised as a part of Yoga Mahotsav-2023 to be held at Dibrugarh University on April 7.
The exhibition was inaugurated admist the presence of large numbers of students, faculties of Dibrugarh University.
The exhibition had showcased in many installed stalls exhibiting not only Yoga but also the different types of healthcare treatments, procedures like Homeopathy, Unani Medicine, Sowa-Rigpa and even VR technology and other alternative form of medicines and treatments governed by the Ayush ministry which not only involves treatments by doctors but even medicines.
The exhibition was basically based on the treatments which is not only Yoga but also for the mental and psychological development these procedures can be highly effective or can be considered as an alternative type of health-care systems which can be introduced to improve the lifestyle of people involving not only physical health but also spiritual and mental growth.
The exhibition showcases old traditional tibetan treatment like Sowa-Rigpa system of medicine which is a medical tradition of the world with its origin to Lord Buddha and involves methods of treatments like diet, behaviour, medicine and external therapies.
Another exhibit was from National Institute of Unani Medicine which is also based on diet and Lifestyle guidelines for promoting immunity during COVID-19 pandemic, and also most importantly Yoga was also showcased on the stage.
The exciting and the eye -catching part of the exhibition was the VR technology which will help students to study the biological parts of the human body more particularly as the technology will help them to study the particulars of the human body more clearly.
On the other side of the Rangamancha, there were treatment exhibits to make people more knowledgeable and aware of these alternative type of treatments.
