Assam: Health camp organised for benefit of flood affected people

GUWAHATI, JULY 30: The Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), Guwahati organised a Free Health Camp at Bamundi in Barpeta, with the help of Ayurvedic Health Centre at NaSatra.

The team of doctors from CARI was led by Dr Ekta, Research Officer; Dr Jeuti Rani Das, Research Officer; Dr Pravin Masram, Research Officer and Dr Atika, SRF at CARI.

More than 200 patients were consulted by the expert team of Ayurvedic doctors at the camp. The camp was aimed at providing healthcare support for the people affected by the floods.

For the benefit of the people, several pathological tests like Blood sugar, Haemoglobin, Blood Sugar etc were conducted free of cost.

The team also distributed Samsamani vati and Aswagandha Ghanavati to people in order to boost their immunity against any disease.

A health talk was organised where people were advised various Ayurvedic solutions for the enrichment of human health. The doctors also addressed questions of the patients with qualified answer
