Assam’s heart-throb singer Zubeen Garg was Airlifted to Guwahati in a stable condition from Dibrugarh on Wednesday after he sustained a minor injury.
According to reports, Zubeen fell in the bathroom and become unconscious on Tuesday night. He was admitted to the Sanjeevani Hospital in Dibrugarh.
He was staying at a resort where the incident took place. However, hospital authorities have stated that the singer is now in stable condition and is out of danger.
Zubeen had a seizure following an epileptic fit. He also received 5 stitches on his head.
Talking to media persons, Dibrugarh Deputy Commissioner Biswajit Pegu said his condition was stable and he was suffering from low sodium.
Dibrugarh MLA Prasanta Phukan visited the hospital to enquired about Zubeen’s health.
He starred in projects like Mon Mane Na, Love story, Chirodini Tumi Je Amar, and Golmaal. According to reports, Zubeen recently made a statement about recording 32,000 songs and is set to approach Guinness World Records soon.
The popular playback singer has produced music for Assamese, Bengali, and Bollywood films. Some of his most popular songs include Ya Ali, from the 2006 Bollywood film Gangster, and Dil Tu Hi Bataa, from Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3. Apart from his singing talent, Zubeen Garg also got a big break in the movies in 2008.
