Enjoy old melodies with Dibrugarh’s Kaushik charismatic voice

Kaushik Kashyap, small town guy without any support and backing doing great in music. With raw voice without any gadget and music instrument he his lending his voice in old melodies of Bollywood.

Kashyap hails from the bustling tea city of Dibrugarh in Assam, India. He completed his engineering degree in electronics from Pune, but his true passion lies in creating music.

Drawing inspiration from both Indian classical and western music, he have been able to successfully blend the two to create fusion music that has resonated with audiences across the country.

He had the privilege of performing at various venues in Pune and Assam, which eventually led to some incredible opportunities.

He was approached to lend his vocals to an Assamese film, as well as a folk song for the tea-tribe community in Assam, both of which were well-received.

Additionally, he had the opportunity of composing the title track for a critically acclaimed period short film titled ‘Hunz N Gunz’, in which he also played the lead role.

His journey then brought him to Mumbai, where he had the chance to collaborate with the renowned performer, Ali Quli Mirza. Together, they have shared the stage at numerous large-scale events across the country, further honing his skills as a musician and performer.

Most recently, his single ‘Jogi De Naal’, a Sufi-fusion track released by Zee Music Company, has been met with great success and positive reviews. His another video song ‘Sadiya’ in Assamese got recognition in Assam and the video was awarded as the second best video by Assam tourism for promoting tourism of Assam.

“I am a trained western classical singer and my passion for music started at a tender age. I started singing from the age of five. I am blessed to recived the music culture from my family. I didn’t get any opportunity but I am trying to make good music. I have made a romantic song and very soon it is going to release,” said Kaushik Kashyap.
