She is always in the headlines for her exceptional fashion sense and often get trolled for the same. Urfi began her career as a TV serial actress and later became a social media star because of her fashion videos.
In an interview with Anchor Siddharth Kanan, Urfi confessed that she was going through a tough phase for about 8 years because she took massive loan and was in debt. She even borrowed clothes for Big Boss OTT and didn’t even make much money from the show. But after Big Boss, she gained popularity and a fan base.
“For the eight years, I was living a life where I had no money. Bigg Boss mein main udhaar leke gayi thi, jo Bigg Boss mein maine kapde phene the, vo logo se udhaar liya tha. Jab main Bigg Boss se bahar aayi, tab main pure debt mein thi, bahut karze mein thi. Kyunki ek hafte hi thi main show mein and usse jyada kuch kamaya nahi,” she stated. She also revealed that how she used to say yes to every TV serial and did at least 15 daily soaps before coming to the reality TV show Big Boss.
