Negative kuch nahi hain environment, sab positive hain: Alia Bhatt reacts positively to the ongoing Brahmastra boycott trend.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor starrer Brahmastra is facing the maximum amount of hate on social media these days. However, boycott calls have also been made for films like Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, and Vikram Vedha, starring Hrithik Roshan. Despite this, the boycott Brahmastra trend is persistently at the top, and netizens can be seen criticising Alia and Ranbir for their prior statements on Bollywood boycott culture.

Yesterday, the Brahmastra team was in Delhi for promotions. While interacting with the media, one reporter asked Alia if the climate and timing of the film’s release was appropriate given the amount of hate on social media. She responded by saying, “Which climate? Summer? Winter? There is no such thing. It is a beautiful environment to release a movie. Right now, we need to be healthy, happy, safe, and secure. We should all feel grateful for just life in general.  Aise kuch mat bolo, aap mat spread karo. Negative kuchh nahi hain environment, sab positive hain, sab acha hain”.

She also added, “We are so thankful that theatres are functioning, films are back in the theatres. We are very grateful that we can do our jobs and put a film out there for the audience to watch. Climate yahi hain ki abhi September shuru ho gaya, agle mahine October shuru hoga.”

On September 9, the film will premiere in theatres. Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy in the lead roles. It will be released in 3D in five different languages including, English, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. The story revolves around Shiva who begins a journey of self-discovery and love. During his journey, he has to face many evil forces that threaten our existence.
