Trinamool & BJP started hiting each other over Morbi bridge collapse

Kunal Ghosh, a spokesperson for the Trinamool Congress, claimed on Monday that the western state had suffered “the consequences of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s series of sins” in reference to the bridge collapse in Morbi, Gujarat, which left 134 people dead. This statement set off a verbal spat between the state’s ruling party and the opposition.

“Deaths occurred because the administration disregarded the fundamental safety procedures,” TMC remarked on its Twitter account. We lack the words to denounce this callousness. “BJP state president Sukanta Majumder responded angrily, saying, “A probe has been launched into the bridge collapse. However, a flyover collapsed in Bengal’s Magherhat, like a deck of cards, and an investigation turned into a farce. Modi had criticised the state government over the flyover disaster while visiting Kolkata prior to the 2021 assembly elections. “A bridge gave way just before the election. Do you want a government like this? He had said, ”

“The PM will go to the spot on Tuesday. We hope that he will repeat what he said about a similar incident in Kolkata.”
