The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday announced that the total number of coronavirus cases in India has risen to 56,342. The death toll due to the virus in India has reached 1,886, according to figures released by ministry. Out of the total cases, 37,916 cases are active, while 16,450 people have been cured, discharged or migrated.
