Guwahati: Feb 12: Union home minister Amit Shah on Sunday said BJP have restore peace in Tripura, which was infested by violence and fear under Communist government.

Speaking at Vijay Sankalp rally in Chandipur, Amit Shah said, “We have restore peace and stability in Tripura by signing peace accord with the insurgents groups. Earlier, Tripura was infested by violence and fear under Communist government, no developmental work happened during the regimes of Congress and Communist but in the last five years development has started in the state,”.

“Your vote will change the fate of Tripura. Give vote to BJP and see development in state in the coming years. Due to the misrule by Congress and Communist, corruption, violence and fear had gripped the entire state but after we came to power, we have ended the decade old violence, corruption and fear from the state by bringing development,” Shah said.

The Union minister lashed out at Congress and CPI-M for ignoring the poor and Adivasi people of Tripura.

“The Congress and Communist government has done nothing for the poor and Adivasi people of Tripura. They have only exploited the people of the state by doing nothing. “After CPI(M) formed an alliance with Congress, they proved that they cannot defeat the BJP”, said Union Home Minister Amit Shah in his speech at the rally.

Amit Shah further claimed, “The Left front has made TIPRA Motha one of their pawn and the three parties are forming triple trouble for the state of Tripura”.
