7000 foreigners to join 3000 Indian garba performers for the record World Culture
Festival is attracting citizens of 180 countries enjoying different cultures through various events. Second day on Sunday will be a special one for Gujarat and India as it will witness a special performance of garba. Giving details, Dr. Rajesh Bhojak said, the day will witness a unique record as around 7000 citizens from 180 countries along with 3000 Indian citizens will play Garba at the festival.
Thus the international gathering with a total of 10000 performers will create a unique record in the United States of America.Grammy Award winner Falu will add colour to this record making feat with his live performance. According to Sejal Shah, the organiser of garba at the World Cultural Festival, this will be a unique experience that will spread the fame of Gujarat and Ambe Mata across the world. This performance will be of 20 minutes long at 6.30 pm local time. Singer Falu will make this garba festival colorful with his voice and create a beautiful atmosphere for those who enjoy this festival through garba. The style of this garba has been made more traditional by Studio Dhoom so that people can enjoy the style and original dance of garba and can perform it easily. As Navratri approaches, this performance before the nine nights festival will spread the magic of Gujarat to the world.
