Despite the fact that his team had just triumphed, the Portugal goalkeeper appeared upset as he departed the field after making a mistake that nearly allowed Inaki Williams to score a last-second equaliser. The goalie, who was extremely lucky to get away with the error of not looking over his shoulder before dropping the ball in front of him, is comforted by Cristiano Ronaldo and other Portuguese players. After a somewhat dull first half, the game remained scoreless until Cristiano Ronaldo converted a penalty after 65 minutes to give Portugal the lead. Andre Ayew quickly brought Ghana back into the game, but Portugal soon took the lead thanks to goals from Joao Felix and substitute Rafael Leao.
Osman Bukari came on as a substitute to help Ghana get back into the game, but Inaki Williams slipped just as he was about to trick Portugal’s goalkeeper Diogo Costa and steal a point for his team.
The game has concluded in fine style after taking well over an hour to get going. Portugal narrowly wins the point battle. Diogo Costa, the goalkeeper for Portugal, came dangerously close to handing Ghana an equaliser in the tenth minute of added time, but it was he and not Inaki Williams who received the blessing of the football gods. Oh wow! Diogo Costa, the goalie for Portugal, drops the ball in front of him without realising that Inaki Williams is waiting behind him with the intention of doing him serious harm. Williams sprints forward, steals the ball, but trips as he turns to shoot the ball into the goal. Without a doubt, that offends Jota severely. Bukari, who has already scored one goal, makes a daring attempt to score by lofting the ball towards the corner from a distance. The width is moderate. Even though time isn’t on Ghana’s side, Daniel Amartey still fouls Goncalo Ramos utterly stupidly as the Portuguese substitute tries to keep the ball down by the corner flag. Joao Cancelo hasn’t performed well for Portugal tonight, and he contributed to the second goal, as I’ve already mentioned. He gave Rahman Baba plenty of time to get a cross into the Portugal box, where it would have been incredibly easy for the unmarked Buklari to complete his duty.

Ghana reverses course. Immediately following Portugal’s triple substitution, an unmarked Bukari heads in a left-wing cross at the far post.
