  • As demand for personal mobility increases, Spinny, India’s full-stack used car marketplace, witnessed a significant growth in its used car inventory in the second quarter of 2022. In Spinny’s Q2 trend report 2022, over 57% of buyers were first-time buyers. This report reveals several interesting insights about buying and selling pre-owned cars in India. As a result of the high demand for contactless buying & selling in the used-car industry, Spinny reported 44% digital transactions. Interestingly, Spinny has witnessed 32% women buyers in Q2.

The majority of Spinny’s car buyers are between 30 and 40 years old. The boost in demand for used cars is due to a number of factors, including personal mobility needs, economic factors, and the acceptance of used cars. The key goal of the brand is to create an efficient, credible and reliable ecosystem for used-car owners.

Among favourite brands, Maruti, Hyundai, and Honda cars reign supreme. Hatchbacks are the most popular model type, followed by sedans and SUVs. Three of the most preferred car models are the Hyundai elite i20, grand i10 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Colours like white, grey, and silver, specifically in that order, are among Spinny buyers’ favourites.

Speaking on Spinny’s Q2 insights, Niraj Singh, Founder & CEO, Spinny, commented – “Today, a car is no longer merely a novelty, but is increasingly being regarded as a necessity in urban areas of India. Spinny has maintained its commitment to home delivery and home test drives with #Extracare.
