The Babu Bagan Sarbajanin Durgotsav Samiti used thousands of commemorative coins produced since independence to develop the theme for this year’s Durga Puja pandal, which is “Maa Tujhe Salaam.” This year marks the 61st year of Babu Bagan Sarbajanin Durga Puja.

To realize Sujata Gupta’s artistic vision and welcome Maa Durga in a setting of celebration for the nation’s 75th anniversary of independence, tributes have been made to the great freedom fighters of the nation.

This puja pandal’s theme highlights wonderful people and liberation fighters through Maa Tujhe Salaam. Upon entering, one can sense the influence of illustrious Indians who actively participated in the country’s freedom struggle and helped to form both our current India and several Indian independence movements.
