The people of Kolkata were busy celebrating Christmas eve. Fire arms have been recovered from Jorasanko. The police have already started the investigation, and they were trying to find out from whom they got the arms and why they brought them.
The accused, Mohammad Rahbar, has been caught by police and is trying to find the answer. The Kolkata Police detective team had been watching Jorasanko since 12 o’clock at night and had nabbed the racket from him.
However, when police started asking questions, the accused did not give a satisfactory answer, and the detective team is trying to find out why he was moving with the pistol at night or if there was some other plan.
Meanwhile, before the panchayat election, bullets and a pistol were also recovered from Hanskhali in Nadia district during the search by police on Saturday.
Police STF recovered arms from Birbhum Nalhati, and five people were arrested in these two incidents.Nalhati was found with two pistols and 30 bullets.
