Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana The duration of housing benefits has been extended by the Center, and there are many schemes under the Pradhan Mantri AWAS Yojana.
The schedule and the time period for the date have been extended until March 31. The states have been informed by the Center about landless beneficiaries.
Meanwhile, the district magistrate has already instructed that the Pradhan Mantri AWAS Yojana will include 1.5 lakh people to check if the land has distributed the patta or not.
According to the center, 5.6 lakh people were enrolled in the fiscal year 2022-2023; some names were initially not included but will be included. There are people who do not have any kind of land, and in order to overcome this situation, they are very much eligible under this scheme so that they can get the benefits under it and also build their houses.
The scheme’s duration has been increased from December 31, 2022 to March 31, 2023.However, the Pradhan Mantri AWAS Yojana was started way back in 2015, after the Modi government came into power. This scheme was started to build houses for the poor and financially backward people of this country.
The Awas Yojana, which is part of the Abas Plus scheme, will be allocated district by district and state by state so that allocations and dissatisfaction are reduced and addressed for each and every benefit created by the central government.
Way back in 1985, Indira AWAS Yojona was built by Rajiv Gandhi. He implemented this project under SC/ST and minority groups, and it was extended by them for the benefits of this country.
